Create reassessment appraisals

Create a reassessment appraisal from an existing appraisal.

Note: When a reassessment appraisal is created, the valuation that is currently in effect is copied, and the new cost data set is applied to recalculate the values.

Prerequisites

Edit Appraisals permission is required to create and manage reassessment appraisals.

Create a reassessment appraisal

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Appraisals.
  2. Go to the appraisal record.
  3. Select Create Reassessment Appraisal.
  1. Populate the fields.
  • Appraisal Status: Select the status of the appraisal.

  • Appraisal Date (optional): Enter or select the date the appraisal occurs.

  • Appraiser (optional): Enter or select the name of the person performing the appraisal.

  • Appraisal Description (optional): Enter a description for the appraisal.

  • Mass Appraisal Year: Enter or select the mass appraisal year.

  1. Select Create Appraisal.

The reassessment appraisal record is created. Now, you can manage appraisal details, create valuations, upload and scan documentation, images, and sketches, and assign tasks and workgroups.

Note: If Market Value Total has been overridden, the override value is used. If it is not overridden, the calculated values for Market Value Total are used for the reassessment appraisal.
